Hi all, Let me bump this topic - the Welcome Working Group as originally proposed and kicked off by Richard Weait (proposal here[1], initial meeting IRC log here[2]) will meet again this coming week.
Welcome Working Group? Yes. In very broad strokes, this WG will look at how we can do a better job of courting / retaining mappers who sign up and never edit or edit only once, never to be heard of again. These folks have shown an active interest in the project and yet we somehow don't manage to make sense to them. That's a real shame and we think there may be ways to do something about this. I am proposing some time slots that should work for N-America and Europe.
