You want to mark the mountain pass point with a node. In advanced add
mountain_pass = yes

and name = "really high mountain pass",
-1000
don't do that! please put only real, existing names (neither
descriptions nor generic classifications) into the name-tag!!!
Sure: if there's a name, put that into the name tag, but I fixed
hundrets of description-in-names in the last years, that I have to drop
a note here ;)
