In addition to the already existing XAPI and JOSM buttons taginfo [1] now also has a "Turbo Button" accessing the Turbo interface [2] to the Overpass API [3]. You can find the button with the "Turbo" symbol (looks like a steering wheel) on the right below the filter settings (which are also taken into account) on all key, tag, and relations pages in taginfo. Throught this button it is easy, for instance, to see all usages for a given tag in a certain area, and maybe load them into JOSM in another step.

And, of course, thanks to Roland Olbricht for the Overpass API. The different tools created by different people for OSM might look like a complicated patchwork. But I think the tools can, over time, be integrated more and more if we build the right interfaces. The combination of taginfo, Turbo and Overpass API surely isn't perfect yet, but it is another step to a more integrated tool system.
