Hi,

For those who are coming by car to SOTM-EU 2014 in Karlsruhe, and especially for those who do not come from Germany, please be aware that in many cities you need an environmental sticker. See [1] for more information, and see [2] for a basic map. It also includes the conference area.

Nowadays, you need a green sticker for Karlsruhe, so if you currently have a yellow or even a red one, you're out of luck.

My experience is that at a TüV-office it is no problem to get a sticker for a foreign car. It took only 15 to 30 minutes or so. If you apply for a sticker in your own country, it might take a little longer, so your best bet is to look for a TüV-office in Germany.

Regards,

Frank
