Hi,
On the cell phone apps that use OSM I would like to seen an "Emergency"
button ... for use in an emergency.
It would bring up on the map the local emergency items;
emergency phones,
AEDs (Automatic Emergency Defibrillators - used for heart attack victims)
Life belts/rings
Hospitals with emergency facilities
Doctors
Pharmacies
Fire extinguishers
Police stations
and anything else that could be of use in an emergency.
By doing this these things can be left off the map ... until the button
is pressed ... then they appear and other things can be suppressed.
Press the emergency button again to revet to the normal view.
It could provide a usefull feature that could save a life, and
declutters the map when not required.
Of course there are some exceptions ... Hospitals and Doctors for non
emergencies for example.
Any thoughts/comments?
