so, ich kann es noch gar nicht glauben: es geht ! (Manchmal)
Es war unglaublich einfach.
Ich habe Deinen Tip, Jochen, verfolgt:

( dann kamen dauernd Daten )
Mit KMail und mit Mozilla konnte ich ins Netz - es klappte !

Als es noch nicht ging ergab sich:
[root@koekdv michael]# hostname -i
192.168.0.251
Jetzt, als es klappte ( mit Mozilla ins Netz verbunden, Kmail ging
auch):

213.6.51.57
0.0.0.0
192.168.0.251
Guter Rat teuer: welche ist nun richtig ?
Freilich habe ich den Eindruck da� das Ger�t sich offenbar nicht trennt
und im Hintergrund irgendwie verbunden bleibt. Vielleicht irre ich mich.

Was hei�t das Alles ? Welche Nummer sind denn jetzt die wichtigen ?
Stabil war dieser Erfolg noch nicht. Abends hatte ich es wiederholt.
Diesmal meldete Mandrake Network Control �verbunden� - aber
Kmail/Mozilla gingen nicht. Danach folgender check:

Jedenfalls bedanke ich mich schon einmal hier bei Allen ! Das hat doch
Motivation gegeben.
Die Aufgabe scheint l�sbar. Christopher R�hl, wie kann ich die von Dir
gezeigten Nummern nutzen � ich meine was mu� ich damit machen ? Hei�t
das da� irgendeine der Nummern auf meiner Kiste falsch sind ?
