auf folgendes mysteriöses Problem bin ich heute gestossen. Eine Bekannte von mir und ich sind beide bei Tiscali, beide mit DSL Flatrate (sie hat außerdem noch FastPath). Nur hat sie auf einen Server einen deutlich höheren Ping, als ich. Da die Pfade zu dem Zeitpunkt wo der Sprung auftritt aber identisch sind kann ich mir das nicht ganz erklären. Sie benutzt WindowsXP. Kann es sein, dass Netzwerkpakete von Windows anders aussehen oder gehandhabt werden, als von Linux? Oder dass Manche Geräte Linux Pakete schneller routen?
