Hi Dana,

Does it really only support XSLT 1.0, or should that have read XSLT 2.0?

Kind regards,
Geert

Onderwerp: [xquery-talk] [ANN] Zorba 2.0: complete XQuery/XSLT processor (C++,
open source, Apache license)

Dear XML-fans,
We are glad to announce the release of Zorba
2.0.<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/site2/html/index.html>, the most complete
XQuery/XSLT processor (C++, open source, Apache license)
In the past year Zorba has gone through an extensive rewrite and
re-architectural work, with the goal of improving the stability of internal and
external APIs, completing the functionality, increasing the conformance level,
and over-all improving the stability of the query processor.
Zorba supports now the following W3C specifications
* XQuery 1.0, including XML Schema validation
* XQuery 3.0 (June 2011 draft) (includes try-catch, groupby, outerjoins)
*        XQuery Update Facility 1.0
*        XQuery Full Text 1.0
*        XSLT 1.0

Please check the  W3C specifications
ove<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/overview.html>rview<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/overview.html>
 page and the W3C
conformance<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/conformance.html>
 page for more details.
In addition, Zorba supports two proprietary specifications:
*        XQuery Data
Definition<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/xqddf.html>
(definition of collections, indexes and integrity constraints)
*        XQuery Scripting
Extension<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/scripting_spec.html>
The functionality of the core query processor is enhanced by an additional set
of XQuery
modules<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/xqdoc/xhtml/index.html>:
 store manipulation, introspection, reflection, process, system, HTTP, data
cleaning, data conversion (JSON, CSV, HTML), excel, cryptography, geo, image,
oauth, email (imap and smtp ).
For more general details about Zorba's general architecture, please check the
general Zorba
documentation<http://www.zorba-xquery.com/doc/zorba-2.0/zorba/html/index.html>
page.
We are looking forward to your feedback !

Best regards
Dana, on behalf of the entire team
