I do not believe it does. Might it mean text books as for a student?

Hi
Does Daisy-2-go read text files? Or rather books in text format? I haven't been able to figure out how to have it identify them if it does. In the manual it seems to indicate it'll read text books, but it may just be referring to daisy books showing text and no audio rather than reading books in text format.
