The contact VCF files that you are talking about are only used for backup on
the phone. The phone doesn't use these files for anything else. So EDITING
these files will not update the stuff you see in the contact list. What I
would do is to use the contact list on the phone to update the contact
information. Then do a mark all and copy to memory card to update all the
VCF files.

Hi friends,
I have looked on my Nokia N95 and there is a folder called contacts.
There are many .VCF files in here.
Am I able to use my PC to edit these files and their contents, to tidy
them up and edit the names etc.
Is there some software to access these files and save them back to the
phone as I don't really want to have to use the PC Suite from Nokia as I
didn't find it very user friendly.
