You would do a Talks followed by a long press of SoftKey2 to find out how
many characters are available for the current message and how many messages
it will take to send the current message. This iwll also tell you some other
information as well.

I want to know the keystroke for finding out the remaining number of
characters that one can type in an SMS message without the message being
divided into 2 parts due to it's exceeding the maximum message length.
I am using Talks version 5 on an E63.
