Because my wayfinder licence was purchased for me buy our local guide dog
association I know nothing re the refund process. Rightfully our guide dog
association are claiming all the refunds for the wayfinder licences they
purchased so they can put the funds toward a replacement gps system what
ever that turns out to be.
Before I posted my previous message I went outside and double checked that
wayfinder is still operational which it is in Sydney Australia. So I will
continue to use it right up to the date they turn off the servers. Check
out the blindsea web site they may have the info you need on applying for a
refund on your wayfinder licence.

Unfortunately, Bernard, I belong to one such country. Incidentally, I
have not yet filled in my request for refund and lost the site. Can I
still do it and where? Please do help.

I've given this a lot of thought. I'm sure that when nuance make talks
work with maps it will be far better than what mobile speak has achieved
thus far. As wayfinder is still up and running with 2 to 3 months to go
I'm not to concerned as yet. I mean it would be very annoying to rush
out and buy mobile speak tomorrow only to find Nuance release a new
version of talks in January or February with much better access to maps
then mobile speak offer. Talks access to wayfinder was much better than
mobile speak.
Ok come February 20 2011 if there is not a new version of talks due for
release or perhaps already released then it may be time to re think the
issue. It just seems a lot of wasted money to buy a screen reader used
for only one application.
When the press release came out I was tempted to purchase the other
screen reader. But as wayfinder is still working I don't need ovi maps
right now and who would use it while they still had access to wayfinder?
So let's see what talks do in their next release before spending your
wayfinder refund on mobile speak.
Perhaps there are countries where wayfinder has gone then wanting
immediate access to ovi maps is understandable.

Subject: [Talks] Using 2 screen readers
Dear Friends,
I have been saying that the othe screen reader is sluggish and I still
maintain that opinion as far as all the applications are concerned.
However, it has more accessibility for maps and I am really not sure as
to when the new version of Talks with accessibility issues fixed would
come. So, how do I use 2 screen readers on my E72 and only use that
other screen reader for maps and not for any other applications? Is
there any solution?
