Chris,
With the latest version of PC Suite, I have found that NVDA does a better
job with accessibility than JAWS. I haven't looked at all of the modules,
but I think I could work with contacts and messages. The calendar didn't
look very useful since I couldn't tell much about what was being displayed
and relate it to what was on my N82. I can't sync, since I don't use
Outlook.

Hi all.
Not meaning to be awful here but this is one major annoyance with JAWS,
and I wish Freedom took more interest. Any further discussions please
contact me off list. For this reason alone I have switched to NVDA and
Window-Eyes.
Take care.

Dear list
You may remember my nervousness about attempting to install PC suite on
my
Netbook given the problems with my desktop install.
I groaned when, on my netbook, the first attempt to install fell over
and
crashed half way through. Which is exactly what happened on my desktop.
Repeated attempts at installing only repeated the crash and error
reports.
I thought I was in for major hassle again but I suddenly had an idea. I
exited Jaws 11 and instead started NVDA. This time Nokia PC Suite
installed
without any complaints. More than that, it instantly recognised my N86,
without any of the device not recognised problems I had on my desktop Pc.
So if you have problems installing PC Suite with Jaws you could try
exiting
Jaws and using NVDA. It may save a lot of hassle.
