I agree that the E71 and E71X are different phones, but the E71X is
still running Symbian 9.2. Here's what it says at

It's a Symbian OS 9.2 smartphone running Nokia's S60 software

The E71x actually runs a slightly newer version of S60: S60 3rd Edition
Feature pack 2 vs. the E71's 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1.
