hi Aleanor, I guess she turned on the feature in talks call callerID in automation tab. if it is right, ask her to turn it off or adjust it to a longer time like 5 or 10 seconds.

She says that when someone calls her, the person's name and their number is read out by talks but the phone does not ring. I do not know how to advise her. I suggested she look in Profiles but it says that the ringing type is ringing. I cannot understand why it reads out the person's number as well as saying their name as I have a C5 and it does not do this on me. Any suggestions how she can get the phone ringing?
