Try using *#7780# first. This will set the setting back to the defaults but
keep all of your personal data on the phone including Talks.
Which phone do you have? If you gave it in a earlyer message I missed it.
I do not think this is going to help with your issue if not being able to
see the sim card. If you have the N95! You need to be careful when you lay
the Sim in the phone and close the door not to move the sim card.
