OK Thanks for this.

If I do a soft Reset then will it wipe out my contacts and restore it back
to original settings.

OK!

I just started up my N86 with Talks 5.20.3. and made a call. The volume keys

on the right side of the phone work with no problems. You are correct the
normal arrow keys do not change volume in this phone as they do on other
earlyer models. But like I said, the volume key on the right side of the
phone is working on my N86 when on a call.

One other thing to check! Make sure that the phone isn't locked then try
your volume key on the side of the phone. If this still doesn't work, then I

would try using the wired headset and see if the volume keys on it will
work. This will then tell you if you can even change volume or not. If the
wired headset allows you to change volume, then you may have a issue with
the phone. If you can't change volume that away, then I would try doing a
soft reset on the phone *#7780# and see if that takes care of the issue. If
not, then I would then try disabling Talks and making a call to see if the
problem still exist. If so, then at that point! You could try removing all
3rd party software , doing a full format of the phone, or sending it in for
repair.

But from my testing, it doesn't look like a Talks issue at this point.
