Although I've butted heads with our moderators at times (mostly because I was wrong), I'd encourage people to let them get on with their thankless job, and let's not get into a debate on list as to how this list should be moderated or what the motives of the moderators are. It's a thankless job, not everyone is willing to do it and I'm fairly certain they're not doing it because they're on some kind of a power trip. Although I don't always agree with where they draw the line, it has to be drawn somewhere and someone needs to make that call. Everyone agreed to be moderated when they signed up for the list. If you don't wish to be moderated anymore than take it up with the moderators off list or quietly unsubscribe.
