I can not thank you, Metin and everyone involved in the planning of the Tango in Istanbul program this year, enough for a once in a lifetime experience. Elsie and I have been traveling a lot lately, including trips to Paris, CITA etc. but have not had a more satisfying tango/vacation trip as this last one in Istanbul. I don't want to write a novel so I'll briefly summmarize what it meant for us. The weather behaved, your country is lovely, the people of Istanbul were incredibly friendly, the tangueras and tangueros were not only very charming and beautiful, they were also very excellent dancers. It was safe, the culture and history of the place are extremely fascinating ( Umer is an excellent good tour guide), the food was fantastic and healthy, the program was very well paced. I could keep on going but luckily for you I still have jet lag and the neurons are still dysfunctional. And, of course, there is only one Metin. I did not know he was such a pious man. Thank him for ! me for taking me on a very pleas ant spiritual journey. Now I am enlightened.
