I. Fundamentals of Tango

Rhythm and Motion

This class is strongly recommended for all levels,
especially for those who are thinking of taking the
Saturday and Sunday classes. Topics will cover leading
& following, posture, balance, walking, rhythms and
systems. This class includes admission to the Rhythm
and Motion practica afterwards.
PREREQUESITES(Saturday and Sunday)

Minimum of 6 months of dancing pure lead and follow
social tango.
II. Turns that Flow

Flow into turns with effortless ease! The keys to
execute turns and how to use it to move around the
dance floor will be covered. Technique for both
leaders and followers will be emphasized.
III. Turns with Spice
---------------------
Saturday 9/8/2001
4:30-6:30pm $25

Spice up your turns with complex footwork and
embellishments for leaders and followers. Topics will
include Enrosque and Lapiz.
IV. Dynamic Boleos

Fabulous boleos with effortless grace: this class will
emphasize the technical keys to lead and follow with
and contra boleos.
V. Boleos Galore!

3:30-5:30pm $25

Dynamics and rhythms of complex boleo sequences.
Includes sequential boleos and sequences that
encounter boleos from unusual places.

BIOGRAPHY
---------
Luciana Valle not only has danced with many of the
best leaders in the world (Fabian Salas, Omar Vega,
Puppy Castello) she is a great leader herself. Her
teaching is superb! She uses her fluent English to
explain concisely and clearly how to make your dancing
better for both leaders and followers.
She is well versed in both the traditional and "Tango
Nuevo" styles. Luciana was in the Gustavo Naveira's
and Fabian Salas' "Tango Investigation" group from
1995-97. Her teachers also include Mingo & Esther
Pugliese and Graciela Gonzalez.
Luciana has taught tango all over the world: Buenos
Aires, Cuba, Portland, Austin. Her approach to
learning tango is improvisational and includes a
strong emphasis on technique for women. She is fun,
exuberant, sensitive and especially good with private
lessons.
