I am pleased to announce the opening of a new milonga in downtown Buenos Aires organized by two milongueros, Alito and Miguel Angel. "Buenos Aires Tango" will open on Wednesday, September 12 in the club Mundo Latino, at Esmeralda 565 between Lavalle and Tucuman (two blocks from Corrientes and three blocks from Confiteria Ideal).
Most milongas are usually open from 3:00pm-11:00pm or 11:00pm-4:00am. However, this milonga will be open from 5:00pm until 3:00am to accomodate those who dance from 5:00pm-8:00pm, 8:00pm-11:00pm and 11:00pm-3:00am. The club has a wood floor, good lighting and sound system, air conditioning, seating for 150+, and will have the best music of the '40s selected by Miguel Angel. And since this milonga is organized by two milongueros, this is going to be THE milonga where milongueros will be dancing. The dress code is elegant sport, therefore, athletic shoes, jeans and t-shirts will not be permitted. Pichi de Buenos Aires
