Hi everyone, just an update on upcoming BATango activities. We had a meeting at Pelayo's house last week and it was very productive. The next meeting will be in the city September 23rd (Sunday) late afternoon, potluck as usual. Let me know if you want to come and I will send directions.
> We are planning a brunch for all the organizers, milonga hosts and hostesses, teachers and performers in the Bay area, invitations will be posted once the details have been firmed up, but try to save time around noon on Sunday, October 21st, if you are going to be in town. > We would like to start a "tradition" of milongas in "new and unusual places" once a quarter, so if anyone has a suggestion for a venue, like an artists studio, gallery space, outdoor patio, warehouse rooftop, etc, etc, please let us know. We are looking for a space that would be inexpensive (or free!) and that would allow us to stay open until 1 or 2 am. or later. > Also don't forget the free milonga we are sponsoring during the Solano Stroll coming up September 9th, sunday, 3-6 p.m with live music by Strictly Tango.
