This is Seattle's 4th Tango Cabaret, featuring international stars from Argentina, local dancers, and musicians showcasing the evolution of tango. "We are thrilled to have the stars of "Forever Tango," and the PBS special "Tango magic" with us. They are considered the best, and I know their dancing will captivate the audience. They have performed throughout the world starring in very successful shows," says Michelle Badion, the shows producer. Badion's dance troupe 2-2-Tango along with professional Tango teachers, including Sonny Newman, will fill out the show highlighting how tango has become infused in our culture. "Tango is more than dance or music, it is the most passionate, romantic, and sensual thing a man and woman can do in public," says Michelle. This show will explore how this exotic dance has affected the rest of the world with it powerful and evocative sensuality. Tango Cabaret is becoming tradition in Seattle, showcasing dancers and musicians in a nightclub setting. "the intimacy of the cabaret is very different from a stage show. Our guests enjoy sharing a table, dining and dancing in the same venue as the performance." Guests are invited to arrive early for the pre-show buffet and to stay for social dancing following the show. "Our local dancers always delight the audience with their talent," says Badion, "and we also feature a wonderful Tango Trio, La Luciernaga. Of course it is exciting to see world performers. Anyone who enjoys good music and dance will enjoy the show whether they dance the Tango or not."
