GRACIELA GONZALEZ: She is well known all over the world both as a tango
teacher and as an excellent dancer. All the traditional milongueros in
Buenos Aires appreciate her skills in integrating new ideas to the
traditional and elegant salon tango.
She started dancing in 1988. Her teachers, myth of the Argentine tango,
were Pupy Castello, Pepito Avellaneda, Antonio Todaro, Gustavo Naveira,
Juan Bruno, Tete', Nito and Elba, among many others.
Her teaching method is completely innovative. She synthesized her
understanding of the body language with her personal experience in
dancing with the milongueros and came up with a method of teaching tango
that allow her students, starting from their awareness of the
possibility of their own body, to create their own personal way of
dancing tango.
