Ramiro arrives in Miami tonight. Here are the details of his workshop:

Technique for leaders and followers

This is a workshop for Intermediate and Advanced leaders and followers who
want to deepen their understanding of the functioning and technique of
tango's most distinctive elements, thus improving respectively their body
lead and responsiveness to the lead, as well as their posture and balance.

Saturday 09/22: Turns, 3:30-5 pm
Saturday 09/22: Boleos, 5:30-7 pm
Sunday 09/23: Sacadas, 1:30-3 pm
Sunday 09/23: Combinations of these elements, 3:30-5pm

Each class: $20. Special: All 4 classes (6 hours) paid by 09/21/01: $55.
Dancers are strongly encouraged to take all 4 classes.

Ramiro will also be available for private lessons until September 30.

Ramiro studied music at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Music and the
Argentine Musicians Syndicate in addition to performing with the rock group
La Piel de la Calle. He first studied with Juan Carlos Copes, then with Pupi
Castello and Jose Brahmecha (Turco Jose). Since 1997 he has been a member of
the Graciela Gonzalez Group, a collective devoted to the deepening and
enriching of tango education and performance. Last year he taught his
Seminar in Musicality to rave reviews throughout the U.S., Canada, and
Italy. This past May he was guest instructor for Bridge to the Tango¹s
Advanced Workshop in Buenos Aires. Ramiro also teaches regularly at La
Galeria, Torcuato Tasso, Niño Bien and Parakultural (Salon Canning).

Musicality for Dancers Workshop

If you missed it last year and are interested in taking the "Musicality for
Dancers" Workshop let us know, since we will organize it if we have a
minimum of 5 couples. This is a practical workshop - come prepared to dance
the whole time! It consists of 4 classes, 2 hours each. 1)The Rhythmic
Structure of Tango. 2)The Rhythmic Structure of Milonga and Vals. 3)Dancing
with the Harmony and Melody  4)The Different Orchestras & Embellishments
