TANGO ELEGANTE presents a SPECIAL TEACHER and SOME SPECIAL TREATS! On Tuesday, October 8th, Tango Elegante hosts Ellen Sowchek and Jonelle Carter have planned a very special evening that you will not want to miss. We have invited Helmut Salas to be our special guest teacher, and he will be teaching our complementary class from 9:30 pm until 10:15 pm. Helmut is a fabulous teacher who has developed his own system integrating all the components of tango: three moving steps and seven stationary steps. His system enables men to develop their improvisational skills and ladies to develop their ability to respond to every lead from a novice to an advanced partner. He also gives a fabulous warm-up. Since we are extending our lesson by 15 minutes for tonight only, we will have additional dancing until 12:45 am.
Our special treats can be described in one word: CHOCOLATE! We will be having home-made brownies and chocolate cake in addition to our usual great refreshments. We tried desperately to find a tango-chocolate connection, but the only one we could come up with is that we love them both, so come and enjoy our two passions with us!
