Another exciting weekend of tango in the Triangle is
just around the corner! We'd be happy to see you all
joining us for the workshops and two milongas at
two new and unique venues: Doris Duke Center at Duke
University Gardens and TOSCA, the most elegant Italian
Restaurant in the Triangle with great ambiance and
hardwood floors!
Of course, the most wonderful thing about the
weekend is to be able to bring together Luciana Valle
from Buenos Aires and Alex Krebs from Portland as our
guest instructors and performers!!! Also, Alex will
be DJing at our milongas!!!

Understanding the "parallel" and "crossed" systems,
and the relationship and use of rhythm when changing
systems.
2:00-3:15pm Class 3 BUILDING THE TANGO EMBRACE
How to play and go back and forth between close and
open embrace and keep things clear while doing so.
3:45-5:00pm Class 4 TANGO TURNS THAT FLOW
Flow into turns with effortless ease! The keys to
execute turns and how to use them to move around the
dance floor will be covered. Technique for both
leaders and followers will be emphasized
(pre-requisite for Class 5!).

12:30-1:45pm Class 5 TURNS WITH SPICE
Spice up your turns with complex footwork and
embellishements for leaders and followers. Topics will
include Enrosque and Lapiz.
2:00-3:15pm Class 6 DYNAMIC BOLEOS
Fabulous boleos with effortless grace: this class will
emphasize the technical keys to lead and follow with
and contra boleos.
3:45-5:00pm Class 7 FOOTWORK AND
EMBELLISHMENTS FOR LEADERS & FOLLOWERS
How, when and where to put an adornment.

Late Registration (payments received after October

* Dinner is NOT INCLUDED! Group dinner at TOSCA is not
available after October 20 through the Triangle
Tangueros but you can get a regular dinner served
until 10pm if you cannot make a decision about it
right now.

October 26 - Milonga at TOSCA
$8* - For "ONLY Milonga"!

maintained in all the classes except for Class 1 on
Friday.
Refunds: If asked for before October 20 90% of the
whole payment is refundable; after October 20, if you
inform the organizer about withdrawal from any class
or the whole workshops before the classes start, 80%
of the payment is refundable. NO REFUNDS for missed
classes!
Group & Private Classes: Group classes-Available for
groups of 4-6 people; Private Classes- $80/person or a
couple.
