Workshop Alert! Mariela Franganillo and Cesar Coehlo will be in Dallas, November 1-3 to give a workshop in Argentine tango for intermediate to advanced tango dancers.

She learned to dance tango in the milongas in Buenos Aires before studying with Gustavo Naveira and dancing with his Tango Troupe in 1990. Mariela has appeared in numerous shows including Forever Tango, Tango Fusion and A Tribute to Astor Piazzolla. Most recently she has choreographed and starred in the off-Broadway production Swango - the Fusion. A gifted and enthusiastic teacher who has given workshops across the United States, Canada and Japan, Mariela maintains an extensive instructional program of tango at Dance Manhattan in New York City.
