Skippy Blair has been giving seminars to dance teachers around the US for many years. This lady is my mentor. She's an amazing woman who can't stop teaching (though she's in her 70s). Her teaching helped me become a better dancer and dance teacher. Her workshops are geared towards swing dancers, but what she teaches is applicable to any dance. I am sharing information below about her upcoming workshop in Anaheim, California in case you want to get away on Thanksgiving weekend to southern California. I guarantee her workshops will help any nonmusician learn to listen to the music and improve their dancing. She developed the Universal Unit System for teaching dancers how to feel the music.
