Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Tango,

Paulo Araujo, founder of the Instituto Brasileiro de Tango of Rio de
Janeiro, Brasil, and one of the favorite partners of Graciela Gonzalez, has
just completed his first visit to the San Francisco Bay area. He was
welcomed by the Bay area tango community with great delight and enthusiasm.

All the dancers who were fortunate enough to attend classes with him,
found him to be an incredible teacher with a captivating personality and
great personal elegance and style.

He possesses a deep and profound knowledge about the technique of tango,
as well as the oh-so-important emotional and relational content. He is able
to convey this to his students through unique exercises and step-by-step
methodology that he has developed through the years. His analysis and
precise placement of foot and body positions allows each movement to flow
naturally, embellishments become an integral part of the dance, and rhythm
and beat become as central to the experience as breathing.

One of his students commented to me after a class: "Es un brujo" (he is a
magician) because of his ability to analyze and resolve a dance problem
that that particular student had been struggling with for several years
already.

By the time he left, the students were begging him to stay longer. They
realized as they worked with him, that the technique he was instilling them
with, was enriching their dance and changing it at every level.

>From Paulo Araujo's point of view, he was very impressed with the beauty and
quality of the dancing and the ambiance of the local SF bay area milongas -
"Muy buena onda". He wishes to express his gratitude to the local community
for their hospitality in making him feel so comfortable and welcome.

He hopes to return to the Bay area in late April or May for a second
teaching engagement. At that time he hopes to mount an intensive
progressive teaching course for two weeks in which all students will be able
to continuously progress toward a solid goal. If you are interested in
