The deadline for Early Bird Registration for DESERT TANGO WEEKEND in
Phoenix is coming up soon--November 30. Don't miss this great warm, sunny
weekend (January 24-26) with three of Argentina's best teaching/performing
couples: the legendary Gloria & Eduardo Arquimbau, and two spectacular young
couples, Diego Di Falco & Carolina Zokalski and Leandro Palou & Andrea
Misse.
Each of the three couples will be giving eight classes over the weekend,
plus excellent teacher Robert Hauk of Portland will be giving two floorcraft
and navigation classes, as well as dee-jaying the three milongas.
We'll also get to hear Eduardo Arquimbau, one of the most knowledgeable
tango historians in the world, give his talk on the history and evolution of
tango styles. For those of you who are confused about the difference between
the various styles of tango (canyengue, salon, orillero, fantasia, club,
etc.) you'll really enjoy and appreciate Eduardo's fascinating lecture and
demonstration. And don't forget, these three couples will be doing a SHOW
for us on Saturday night, along with the dinner and milonga.
SPECIAL DISCOUNT REGISTRATION PRICES:
This is a weekend not to be missed, and you can take advantage of two

tango teacher or organizer (someone who hosts a milonga or sponsors visiting
teachers) you can get one free registration for every four people you
register. OR anyone (you do not need to be a teacher or organizer) can form

registration price for the entire group. The group rate for Early Bird
Registrations is $305 per person for a group of 5 and $271 per person for a
group of 10 through December 5. After December 5 the group rate will be $341
per person for groups of 5 and $303 per person for groups of 10, so hurry
