When I got into my car after the milonga last night, the radio was playing a bandoneon tango. Hey, that's not a CD, nor an hallucination! It was the local public radio broadcast of a BBC story on the popularity of tango in Berlin. I checked the BBC website to see if I could find the story, but no luck. If you're reading this, you already know it, anyway, except for me to note the thrill I got from hearing it, having just danced Argentine tango with a German woman newly arrived in Dallas, Texas a few minutes before people all over the world were hearing about similar experiences on BBC.
