WindyCityTango, Inc. presents Antonio "Junior" and Roxana Cervila's first tour to Chicago January 31 to February 2, 2003 teaching workshops and available for private lessons. Junior has been a lead dancer in many world class tango shows, including a featured role as the assassin in Carlos Saura s Academy Award nominated movie Tango . He now is co-producing and starring in the typically sold-out Tanguera with Mora Godoy in Buenos Aires. Because of this, he rarely tours so WindyCityTango has seized the opportunity to introduce him to the midwest tango community - if only for a brief weekend. Although renown for his performances, Junior s teaching is very clear and easy to understand (yes, he speaks English fluently, with a wonderful sense of humor). He focuses on proper technique for social, improvisational dancing. You will find his dancing and his instruction both exciting and yet down to earth. If your goals include improving your dance floor navigation, spicing up your repertoire and techniqu es or enhancing your performing skills, you'll want to take advantage of Junior s workshops and instructing. Private lesson pricing: $90 for any private lesson (plus cost of studio space if necessary); 4 or more individuals may schedule a small group class at $40/person/hour.
