and later in the week. . .

Corrientes y Esmeralda is a tango by Pracanico and M.C. Flores.  It is also
the location of Salon Marco Polo where a new milonga will open on Friday,
April 25 at 11pm.  The entrada for opening night is $1 peso to cover the
city tax.  On subsequent Fridays the entrada for women will be $3 until
11:30pm; after 11:30 it will be $5 for men and women.  Corrientes 818 -
first floor (and Esmeralda).


and last but not least . . .

Elizabeth Figueroa will be presenting her new CD with the Jorge Dragone
orchestra on Monday, April 28 at 9:00pm in La Trastienda, Balcarce 460 (San
Telmo).  Elizabeth, born in Chile, met her husband in a tango class in
southern California.  They live in Newport Beach, CA and Santiago, but may
be putting down roots in Buenos Aires.
