The apt. is in a quiet street but only 4 blocks from the "D" line of subway and zillions of bus lines. It's in a very safe neighborhood, lighted at night, no problems coming home by bus or subway at night. It's 1 block from the supermarket. Lots of bakeries, groceries (fruit and vegetable), take out food, ice cream and pizza parlors, drug stores, kiosks (candy/cigarette stores), laundry mat, etc. all in our own block or 1 blk. away. There is a shopping center four blocks away . All in all we are located in a perfect spot to move around town, either going to down town (15 minutes away), San Telmo, Recoleta, Caminito, etc. It's at a walking distance or 10' ride to the milongas: Canning and La Viruta. At about 10' subway ride to La Ideal. 15' subway or bus ride to Lo de Celia and Viejo Correo, La Trastienda, El Arranque, El Beso, etc. Our rental fees for the whole apt. are lower than a hotel, hostel or room in a house/apt.
