Aurora Lubiz and Jorge Firpo will teach a Special 1 hour and a half tango class at the Tango Society of Boston's popular Wednesday Tango Dance Break on 14 May. They will also grace our dance floor with a performance later that evening. Aurora & Jorge are well-known dancers and talented directors who will be making a promotional tour to Boston on behalf of the 2nd Annual International Tango Festival in Buenos Aires later this October.
Refreshments will be served. Raffle prizes include a round trip fare to Argentina for the International Tango Festival. Admission to the class is $10 for Tango Society of Boston members, $15 for non-members. Class is from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. NOTE: For this special event, there will be NO CHARGE for the milonga that follows the class from 9pm to 11:30 pm. Both the Special Class and Dance Break will take place at the Mt. Auburn VFW Post, 688 Huron Ave, in Cambridge, near Fresh Pond.
