DATES: Wed-Thur, October 15-19, 2003 INSTRUCTORS: Miriam & Hugo (Buenos Aires), Cacho Dante (Buenos Aires) & Barbara Durr (Atlanta), Juan Manuel Nieto (Madrid), Patricio Touceda & Eva Lucero (Buenos Aires), Jorge Nel (Columbia/Miami), Brigitta Winkler (Germany), Anne-Sophie Villi (Washington, DC), Brooke & Javier (Buenos Aires), El Indio & Mariana (Buenos Aires), Felipe & Kat (San Francisco), Homer & Cristina (San Francisco), Marcelo Solas (Buenos Aires) & Lorena Beightler (San Francisco), Paulo Aruajo (Brazil), Ronen & Cecilia (New York), Rebecca Shulman (New York). CLASSES: Nine or more classes each day to choose from (over 45 total) PRACTICAS: Daytime supervised practicas on Wed, Thur, Fri, & Sun with instructors available for individual help and attention. MOLONGAS: 7 milongas at convenient locations. Orchestra Sat & Sun plus 2 after-hour milongas which go 'till sunrise. Special "Dinner Milonga" on Sunday. VENUES: Portland has some great old dance halls and we're gonna use the best--including Viscount Ballroom 722 E Burnside, Emerald Ballroom in the historic downtown Tiffany Center 1410 SW Morrison, Norse Hall, 111 NE 11th, and others. DJs: Top DJ's to be announced! As always, we pick the best in the country for this job. COST: $235 for all daytime classes and practicas if paid by Oct 7, 2003 ($265 after 10/7/03 and before 1st class). Separate daytime pass to classes and practicas is $55/day. Separate classes are $20/each and separate practicas are $10/each (but free if you pay for any class on that day.) Milongas are all pay-at-the door separately and run $10-$25 (depending on whether there is live orchestra, lesson, show, etc). For any refunds there is a $10 processing fee.
