Mark this date: June 14, 2003,and get ready for a great tango event in
Miami: the first Miami Tangothon.
What:
-free 1 hour beginner from 10 am to 7 pm
-chacarera class from 7-8 pm
-all night milonga, from 10 pm to 8am, music by Dolores
-show
Who:
-most of Miami's tango teacher's who will be donating their time to
teach and to perform
-those Miami Intermediate and Advanced social dancers that are prepared
to attend the classes to partner with the beginners so that they
will have a chance to better experience what tango feels like.
Why:
-because we want to attract new people to our dance community
-because we are convinced that when people selflessly extend themselves
to pursue a common goal, the benefits will be much more
far reaching than having a larger number of dancers

evento de tango en Miami: la primera Miami Tangothon!
De que se trata?
-clases gratis de tango para principiantes desde las 10 am a las 7 pm
-clase de chacarera de 7-8 pm
-toda una noche de milonga, desde las 10 pm a las 8 am. Musicaliza
Dolores.
-show
Quienes?
-la mayoria de los profesores de tango de Miami, que donaran su tiempo
para enseqar y para el show
-aquellos bailarines sociales intermedios y avanzados que esten
dispuestos a concurrir a las clases para bailar con los principiantes. De
esta forma los principiantes podran tener una mejor idea de que se siente al
bailar tango.
Porque?
-porque queremos atraer nueva gente a nuestra comunidad de tango
-porque estamos convencidos que cuando la gente entrega de si con
generosidad y desinteres, con el fin de lograr un objetivo comun, los
beneficios para la comunidad seran mucho mas importantes que el mero hecho
de aumentar el numero de bailarines de tango.
