Mariana Dragone
At the Berkeley Tango Studio  June 6-16th, 2003.

Mariana Dragone is one of the most talented and
beautiful young dancers from Buenos Aires and
travels around the world sharing her insights at
most of the major tango festivals.  She has taught
several times at CITA, as well at Nora's Tango
Week.  She has partnered with some of the most
outstanding male tango dancers including Hernan
Obispo and "el Indio."  She has appeared in shows
such as "Tango Dreams" and "Senor Tango."  Please
welcome Mariana to the Bay area.

Workshops Offered:
Sunday June 8th:
5-6:30 p.m.    Intermediate technique for women
6:30-8 p.m. Women's embellishments

Saturday June 14th:
11:30-12:45    BEGINNERS SPECIAL - only $10.
1-2:30 p.m. Intermediate tango salon
2:30-4 p.m. Advanced tango salon

Sunday June 15th:
5-6:30 p.m. Advanced technique for women
6:30-8 p.m. Boleos - proper technique for fluidity and musicality.
8-10 p.m. PRACTICA FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.  Please feel free to bring some
food and drink to share to celebrate Mariana's presence here.

$25/workshop (except for the beginners special class), pre-registration
required.  All classes to take place at the Berkeley Tango Studio.

Mariana will also be teaching classes before the following milongas:
Thursday June 12th  7-8:30 p.m.  Beginning and intermediate level classes at
the Mariposa Tango club, 2424 Mariposa, SF, hosted by Christy Cote and
Victor Meneses.  Class $10, class and party $14.
Saturday June 14th  8-9 p.m.  Salon tango class for all levels at the
Golden Gate Milonga,  Golden Gate Yacht Club, hosted by Steve and Luz-Mary.
She will also be performing a demonstration later on that night. 1 Yacht
Club Rd, SF.

Private lessons also available $60/hour plus $10 studio rental fee. A
package of 5 hours private class for $300 with pre-payment.   For more
