1- LIVE MUSIC on June 4th 2- CHANGE OF DAY in the THIRD week of JUNE 3- FOUR-WEEK SERIES by the same instructor 4- BROOKE & JAVIER teach at CTC on June 25th 5- TANGO BRUNCH update ---------------------------- 1- LIVE MUSIC on June 4th We are very happy to announce that on June 4th CTC will host a milonga to LIVE MUSIC by Boston's very own Mass Tango. Come and enjoy dancing to tango classics performed by Bernardo Monk (Voice, Saxofon, Flute) Patricia Vlieg (Voice, Guitar) Ignacio Long (Kontrabass) Mass Tango is familiar to all of you who attended the event "From Tango To Rock", held on May 23rd, as a part of The Argentinean Week in Boston. Due to the presence of Live Music, the cover charge on June 4th will exceptionally be $7. It will, as usual, cover the class from 7:30 to 8:30 and the dance from 8:30pm to 11:30pm. ---------------------------- 2- CHANGE OF DAY in the THIRD week of JUNE only In the third week of June ONLY, CTC will be held on TUESDAY May 17th and NOT on Wednesday June 18th. We apologize for the inconvenience. The change is due to an event organized by the members of the Elks Lodge. ---------------------------- 3- FOUR-WEEK SERIES by the same instructor As announced in our earlier email, in June we are starting with complimentary lessons being taught by the same instructor four weeks in a row. We believe that taking a series of classes with the same instructor would be a good way for beginner dancers to start off with more confidence, and master the basics of Tango technique & style with more ease. This will also add to the positive energy of the classes. Our June instructor will be HAMZA ZEYTINOGLU whose first class will be held on JUNE 4th. Hamza's four week series will run as follows: Wednesday June 4th Wednesday June 11th Tuesday June 17th (Wednesday June 25th - A class by Brooke Burdett and Javier Rochwarger - please, read below!) Wednesday July 2nd With the exception of June 4th, the cover charge for CTC, covering the class and the dance, will remain $5. If you have friends who are new to tango or have never tried it, please spread the word. ---------------------------- 4- BROOKE & JAVIER teach at CTC on June 25th On Wednesday JUNE 25th, the complimentary class preceding the CTC milonga will be taught by Brooke Burdett and Javier Rochwarger of Buenos Aires, who will be holding workshops during the following weekend, June 28-30 organized by Hillary Ross. Take the opportunity to take a class from the masters of tango at CTC at the same cover charge of $5! ---------------------------- 5- TANGO BRUNCH update Again, we would like to thank all of you who attended our Tango Brunch on Saturday May 24th. We hope you had a great time, like we did, and we hope to see you again in our next Tango Brunch. As yet, CTC does not organize Tango Brunch every week, but stay tuned - we will inform you of the next time Tango Brunch is happening.
