Bailemos Tango is pleased to announce a very special series of workshops on Saturday, June 14, 21, and 28th .
Hector de Gricel will be giving workshops in Milonga Traspie at the Pierre Dulaine Dance Club. Those who have been to Buenos Aires know what a popular Milonga GRICEL is and those who have met Hector know what a beautiful dancer he is. Not only will you learn and sharpen your dancing skills from an experienced milonguero but will gain insight first-hand from someone who runs a milonga and regularly observes the scene. Those who have not been to Gricel and who do not know Hector should make it a point not to miss his classes. This is the perfect way to sharpen your technique and navigation skills for both men and women. Milonga Traspie workshop - 8:30 - 9:30pm. Milonga will be from 9:30pm until 3am Cost: Those taking the Workshop + staying for the Milonga - $20 Workshop only - $15 Milonga only from 9:30pm-3am - $15 with a $3 discount for those arriving between 9:30-10:30pm. Also in addition on June 14th BAILEMOS TANGO will be celebrating June Birthdays - So come to the Milonga, have a birthday dance, and enjoy the Birthday Cake On June 21st we celebrate SUMMER SOLSTICE - we will TANGO AROUND THE WORLD with foods from different nations, refreshing summer drinks - and if the mood strikes we may go beyond the 3am hour - why not? On June 28th we will have "Tango Clothes Exchange." Tired of your tango togs? Bring them in - Perhaps you'll like what someone else is tired of and vice-versa. Should be fun - we'll see what turns up.
