It sounds like there are at least 18 people coming to Christchurch from the North Island (and hopefully others from Nelson and Timaru) to see Estampas Portenas, and it sounds like most are planning to attend the final show on August 2. Hopefully they'll be joining us at the milonga afterwards, hence the date chosen. Beginners! Tango is best learned on the social dance floor. It can be an intimidating occasion when you're new to dancing (I nearly threw it in after my first milonga - too daunting!), but you learn so much more quickly to hear the music and put the steps together than you do in a class or workshop.
