Naveira and Gerardo Portalea. She is the premier teacher in the world today
of the "milonguero" style of tango, emphasizing step quality and rhythm over
predetermined patterns, encouraging dancers to shape their own language
through knowledge of the music, space and body. A native of Bs As, she has
been teaching tango for many years, with annual tours to the US and Europe.
She has a tango academy in Bs As and hosts one of BsAs's most popular tango
