Note: these are not regularly scheduled events Directions: Amtrak runs once/day from Penn Station to Amherst & stops right behind the Barn in Amherst >From NY & South: Take Rt 95 or Merritt to 91 North, get off at Rt 9 (Amherst), continue on Rt. 9 about 6 miles through Amherst center, past Amherst College, then left onto Dickinson Street, just before the RR overpass. The Barn is halfway down the street, on the right. Park on the street (not in the front lot), or continue to the end of Dickinson Street & make a right onto Main Street at the light. Take the 2nd right at 409 Main Street, into the parking lot behind the Barn. Park behind the white Barn, and follow the music. >From Boston: Get off the Mass Pike at exit #8 (Palmer), Turn right off the exit @ traffic lights (onto Thorndike Street or Rte. 32), Go to end - 1 mile to Rte. 20 West (Main Street) - turn right on Rte. 20, Go .8 miles to Rte 181 (Sykes St) - turn right on 181 (if you go over the RR tracks - you missed the turn), Continue on 181 - 12 miles to Belchertown town common (you're staying on 181, but it's called Sykes St, then Palmer St, then Main St), Go straight through the traffic light, same road, now called rte 202 or Main St. for 1 mile, pass McDonalds on the right, strip mall on left, Bear left at the lights - onto rte 9, West (Federal Street), Follow rte 9 into Amherst to Dickinson Street (8 miles), Note: Rte 9 becomes Belchertown Rd at the Amherst town line, and at So. East Street (traffic lights - Dairy Mart on the left), it becomes College Street, Dickinson Street is the first street after you go under the RR bridge, Turn right on Dickinson, The Barn is halfway down the street, on the right.
