This course will be entirely taught (and the practicum
supervised) by Christy Cote'. Christy is also
designated as a National Examiner (Argentine Tango)
for Dance Vision. She, along with George Garcia, have
recently released a series of 9 instructional videos
on Argentine Tango, Vals, and Milonga, one of which
specifically covers the material in this course and
which will be available to Instructor Candidates at a
discounted price. Christy has literally 'written the
syllabus' standardizing Argentine Tango for Dance
Vision.

Testing and final certification to be scheduled at a
later date and is not included in the price of the
IDC.

Unlike regular workshops, this will be an intensive,
challenging course teaching not only the lead and
follower's steps, but also the theory of teaching
Argentine tango as well. Each candidate will teach a
specific technique at Saturday night's pre-milonga
beginner's class, with evaluations by students and
peers soliticited after the practicum. This segment
will be videotaped for later peer review and to
further assist in the Instructor Candidate's
instructional development.

This course is intended to prepare the Instructor
Candidate to teach Bronze level, Argentine Tango,
using a standardized syllabus and proven instructional
methodologies to effectively communicate, in a clear
and concise manner, the basics of this wonderful
dance.

Don't miss this first-ever opportunity to learn the
art of teaching Argentine Tango from one of the top
instructors in the world, at the most romantic and
premier center for Argentine Tango in Old Sacramento,
at Tango By The River.
