*Our next event is Sunday afternoon, June 27, with dancer/choreographer CARLOS DUARTE DE CHEY, one of NYC's top teachers.... * *1p-2p: Fundamentals for all, 1 hour - $20 pp, $35 per couple* *2:15-3:45p: Intermediate, 1 1/2 hours - $25 pp, $45 per couple* *4p - 6p: Milonguita w/ classic and alternative music! $12 (admission included w/both classes) * *All Afternoon: 5 hours -Both workshops for $40 pp, $70 couple, incl. Milonguita * * CARLOS DUARTE DE CHEY is a native of Argentina, whose earliest memory is of his parents dancing tango in **Buenos Aires**! Based in NYC for the past ten years, he is one of **New York**'s most respected and popular teachers, and dances a combination of classic and 'Nuevo' tango. His students are considered among the best dancers in NYC. Carlos performs and teaches in the USA, Argentina, **Europe** and **Canada**. A dancer for more than 20 years, his early teachers include Eduardo Arquimbo, Carlos Gavito and Nito & Elba Garcia. Strongly influenced by the music of Carlos Gardel, he also hosts La Milonga de Gardel, one of NYC's most popular Milongas. * * NEW LOCATION: The **COLONY** **ARTS** **CENTER** & CAFI is located on **Rock City Road** in the center of the **Woodstock**, the most famous small town in the world. A beautiful, historic, architectural gem, with a large, smooth, wooden dance floor and a cathedral ceiling that soars two stories high with wrap-around balcony (great for watching the dancers from above!).
