Hi,
Saturday, July 31st, in Wilmington, N.C., Tango North Carolina will be
giving three tango and milonga classes and will hold a milonga that same
Saturday night.
The schedule will go as follows:
July 31st - Saturday
Noon-1:15pm: Tango - for all levels. This class will focus primarily on the
giro (turn) both to the left and the right and many of possible ways to enter
and exit the giro.
1:30pm-2:45pm: Milonga - for all levels. This class will focus on the rhythm
of the milonga and some popular figures. We'll share some secrets to make the
milonga much spicier.
3pm-4:30pm: Favorite tango figures and informal practica - for all levels.
We'll show some traditional tango figures and introduce how to combine them.
8pm-Midnight: Milonga (dance party) also playing a couple of 'tandas' (sets)
of salsa, cumbia, and other rhythms.
All events will be held at Babs McDance Social Dance Studio in Wilmington.

Early Registration by July 26th:
All three classes plus milonga: $50 per person; $95 per couple
Any one class: $15
Milonga only: $15
After July 26th:
All three classes plus milonga: $60 per person; $115 per couple
Any one class: $20
Milonga only: $15
We are expecting a crowd of 20-30 people, so please join us if you can.
Wilmington has a very nice dance crowd that is very interested in the tango and
haven't been shown very much.
This is our chance to show them what it's all about;-)
