Within this framework, they are able to combine the passion of the dance with a unique light-hearted and exciting approach. Both are excellent teachers and share the improvisational techniques and expressions of the Tango with dancers world-wide. Most recently, Javier has been teaching, performing and sharing the joy and passion of Tango in Portland, Tokyo and various cities in Spain. Sharna dances beautifully, (being described as a luscious dancer) and has been performing and teaching with the internationally-acclaimed performing group Tango Mujer. In addition, Sharna has made a significant contribution to tango in Boston, Providence, New York City and now Washington, D.C. where she currently resides and teaches.
