I am extremely excited to announce the January 2006 Fusion!!! In addition to it being a New Year, this month's Fusion dance will have a new host! I am honored to be filling Dylan's shoes as the organizer for this unique evening of dance! Make sure to come and see what I have in store as the year unfolds...
January 14th is destined to be amesome. I look forward to seeing everyone there. We have a great lineup: J Abling will be teaching/DJing the Tango/Alternative dances! Susan Kane & Scott Weinstein will be teaching/DJing the Swing/Blues dances! Now the schedule: (Come on time so we can begin right away!) 8:00-8:45 Tango Lesson By: J Abling 8:45-9:30 Blues/Swing Lesson By: Susan Kane & Scott Weinstein 9:30-1:30 Dance Only $5 for the entire evening! Fusion is truly a unique night here in Portland. A night that combines Tango, Blues and Swing dancing into one perfectly blended night of dancing. With a healthy mix of the three dance styles, Fusion will keep you dancing all night...whether it is to a dance that you have been dancing for years or if you are in the mood to try something new. The music sets are organized in such a way, each of the three dance communities will feel quite satisfied as the evening unfolds! You will be dancing in one of the best venues in Portland, Oregon: Tango Berretin. The atmosphere at Tango Berretin creates such a relaxing welcoming atmosphere it is hard not to just enjoy the evening and let the time fly by. The music will be rotating is sets of three of four songs. The sets are: Traditional Tango, Swing, Alternative/Alternative Tango and Blues.
