For the beginning dancer to the tango master, enjoy expanding your
tango vocabulary to include these new & elegant movements danced in
milongas all around the world.
12 - 1:30pm Structure & Connection for Nuevo Dynamics
Using the floor, your partner’s center, & spiral dissociation as core
elements of your movement. Finding your axis so that one leg is
always free & light for advanced positions. What it means to be
active & elastic at all times. (Beg-ADV)
1:45 - 3:15pm Atypical Ganchos
Radial & Linear Ganchos, normal & rebound energy; Wrapped off axis;
Possibility for Sostenida lifts. (INT-MA)
3:30 - 5pm Piernazos
Medium & high leg positions that use rebound energy - both linear &
radial possibilities (INT-MA); beautiful off-axis low leg positions
(ADV-MA)
